Hi, My Name is: Drew Bledsoe


Ah, Drew Bledsoe. You may remember him from such teams as: The Patriots from 93-2001, and the Bills from 2002-2004. Recognized as one of the most accurate QB's in the league today, Bledsoe was the first Free Agent acquisition by the Cowboys this offseason. Born on Feb 14, 1972 (that's right, the same day as Jim Kelly) in Ellenburg WA.n He wasselected first-team all-state by the Tacoma News Tribune after senior year at Walla Walla High, named to numerous local and regional all-star teams, including the Western 100, Northwest Nugget, Super Prep's Far West Offensive Player of the Year, Long Beach Press Telegram "Best of the West," Seattle Times Blue Chip and Washington State Player of the Year honors. He recieved a $150,000 football scholarship to Washington State, where he set the second-place record for all-time passing in Washigton with 7,373 yards, despite starting only 28 games. He was drafted by the Pats in 1993, and the rest is history. He founded the Drew Bledsoe Foundation, whose mission is to improve the lives of American children by teaching parenting skills to parents in 1999. He also has his own children's book published entitled "Make the Right Call".
